it's 2 am and i can't sleep. dwight just downed almost half a bottle of red and is already snoring his way to zzzland. nikki, too, is snoring with half a smile on her face. cute! while poor me have been tossing and turning in bed. afraid i might wake the two, i got up and went to the kitchen. opened the fridge, stuck my hands in and laid them on my shoulders. ah, that feels so cool, so good. my arms (and face) are so red and sore. dwight said, i look like one of the local palahubogs (drunks) back home. buing!
no doubt, it's sunburn. it's been a long time since i got one. it was a long day. perfect for a day out in the sun. dwight wanted to check out the farmer's market at Larchmont and i wanted to check out the neighborhood park. we went and did both.
spent the rest of the day in the park. armed with a huge quilt, some pillows, food, drinks, toys, we had a little picnic of sorts and just killed time. under a huge tree we (people)watched, then ate, then played, then watched gain, then dwight snoozed, nikki played some more (and later on joined his dad and slept), while i read a book & listened to my ipod. just a lazy sunday afternoon with my family.
4 hours out in the sun, now this. a little bit sore but with this feel good thingie in my heart.
ah, the simple joys in life!

ah picnic picnic! nag buwad sad mi sa init. labad kaayo akong ulo until now but luckily wa man ga sore akong panit. nilagum lang hehehe!!! ah mag red red diay mong dwight hah! mark and i should do that too, ahem ahem ;-)
