raising nikki ..... the adventures and misadventures

Hapyy 1st Birthday, NIKKI!!!

after 9 long months of waiting ... our baby has arrived. and with her came changes, both welcome and uninvited ... but all worth it nonetheless. as the journey that was pregnancy ended, a new one begins ... PARENTHOOD. such a happy, kinda scary word.

as we go through this path, we know we'll be met with a few obstacles, mishaps and booboos (just a few we hope! *crossing fingers*). we may stumble and fall and struggle through this life's little quirks. we won't be perfect. yet, with eyes looking straight ahead, we can say we're pretty excited to learn .... and grow with our child.

hope when the day comes, nikki would see us as the parents who prayed for her to come, who tried to give her the best of everything and whose love for her knows no bounds. this is for our baby ....
