notes from the comeback kid

this business of leaving and coming back has gotten me all tired, confused and a little bit lost and disconnected. blame it on that 14-hour plane trip, blame it on the lack of internet hook-up, blame it on how far both our families live, blame it on old silly wussy me.

i terribly miss you all, YOU most especially. and i wonder how you all have been doing while i was gone. i can easily find answers to that question only if i'm brave enough to open my mailbox and read all 2895 unread mails. that many! argh! please be patient with me, will you? i promised to get to all of you when i come back ... and i'm not backing down on that. *wink*
