(This was supposed to go to the yaya site, but somehow, I cannot post it there. So I had to put it here.)
I'm taking a break from my self-imposed hiatus to celebrate her birthday. She's one person who's sees me through my invisibility, who understands with the least amount of explanation and whose friendship has touched me immensely.
I'm sitting at my keyboard, trying to find the right words. The perfect words. The ones that will move you to tears. That will tell you --- and her --- exactly what she means to me.
But there aren’t enough words. There is only the feeling. The love. The connection. Those shared experiences. And of knowing each other in a way that no one else does.
And now I sit at my keyboard, trying to tell her just that, I start imagining meeting her finally. We still haven't met, you know. But that doesn't matter ... it didn't when our friendship started and it didn't till now. Because no matter which way we go, our hearts will be full with the love of our friends who told us they want us among them.

I wish I could see you now and celebrate with you. But till then, you always take care.*XOXO*
Her birthday is still a couple of days away, but with Nikki competing with my attention, I had to finish this now while she fast asleep (read: 2am) and post it before I miss the day itself. The pictures are a bit grainy ... I stole them from Ai's site. Ai, I hope you won't mind.
